Clarke
I am an educator. I love working with and teaching children and have
discovered that working with adults is very similar...it is often the
child within who holds the key to our present day difficulties.
My area of interest is encouraging Self Help… in keeping a balance…
a physical, mental and emotional balance of energies while living our
every day life.
A friend of mine says, “not some sort of heaven of total calm serenity,
devoid of life”... but dealing with everyday adventures which dance
us along pleasantly, or hurl us seemingly uncontrolled into chaos.
One of the tools I use is Counselling Kinesiology™ developed by
Gordon and Debra Dickson. CK™ blends counselling techniques with
highly effective de-stressing techniques and powerful behaviour change
exercises.
Touch
For Health, which was developed by Dr John F. Thie. His aim was to empower
people to promote and maintain health in themselves and their families.
My experience, both personally and working with clients is that the
'outside' aspects of our lives where the problems seem to be are amazingly
cleared away and placed into perspective when the 'inside ' aspect of
our lives are de-stressed and more balanced.
I am also a Reiki Practitioner. Reiki is a gentle healing method that
works by allowing loving energy to flow through the hands to a receptive
person. Energy that flows from the deep connection we all have with
the universe.
I believe that everything is connected and based on that understanding
I am working towards building a harmonious life together with family,
friends, colleagues and our wonderful Earth.
